History of Lomography
Lomografi is a part of analog photography that uses a special camera called LOMOcamera. LOMO itself is an abbreviation of Leningradskoye Optiko-MechanichesckoyeObyedinenie (Leningrad Optical Mechanical Merger). The name is a lens factorylocated in St. Petersburg, Russia. The plant will produce lenses for health equipmentsuch as a microscope lens, the tools of weaponry, and the camera lens. In Austria, the factory became the inspiration for a commercial trademark for products related tophotography. Trademarks are named Lomographische AG. Lomografi still using filmcameras roll, so-called analog photography while modern photography is already usingdigital technologies in image capture and processing. Lomografi beginnings started when a man named Michail Panfilowitsch Panfiloff researching a camera that is gained. Michail is one of the most important figures in Russian LOMO Arms and Optical are the arms factories and optical instruments of the Soviet Union. The camera that caught his attention was the obtainment of General Igor Petrowitsch Kornitzky the people trust the Minister of Defence and Industry of the Soviet Union. They tried to take pictures as much as possible from an unusual position such as the hips and across the foot. In addition, they also produce a camera that they use and sell at prices cheaper than other cameras. Lomografi then started growing rapidly after the two students were heavily promoting Lomografi to friends, relatives, family and even people they do not know. A lover of Lomografi club was formed in Vienna and was named Lomographische Gesellschaft or "Community Lomografi". Through this community and various exhibitions Lomografi successfully implemented in large cities such as St. Petersburg, Vienna, Moscow, New York, Berlin, Havana, Zurich, Cologne, Madrid, Cairo and Tokyo.
